Founder of Archeo Gallery, Wendy Asplundh lived life like a magic-carpet-ride. After college, while working as a graphic designer and for Hallmark Cards, Wendy spent all her extra time and money traveling. On journeys through Africa and Asia, she would often advise shopkeepers from far and wide on what to buy, until finally she realized this skill was her calling. After moving to Key West, Florida, where she worked in an art gallery and learned the business, Wendy finally created Archeo: home of ancient art for modern living. Wendy continued to travel––including trips to Japan, India, and Botswana––chasing beauty around the globe. Here in the Keys, she loved yoga, boating, paddleboarding, supporting our local SPCA, and spending time with her beloved family. In August 2015, her physical body departed this world, but her spirit lives on at Archeo. The Archeo staff works every day to uphold the high standards Wendy set, and to continue her
