GINGERBREAD SQUARE GALLERY
1207 DUVAL STREET
KEY WEST, FL, 33040
305-296-8900

On the distinguished upper end of Duval Street, amidst the tropical foliage and quaint historical buildings, is Key West's oldest and most respected private art gallery. Steeped in tradition and local color, Gingerbread Square Gallery exhibits a variety of original paintings, limited edition prints, sculpture and art glass by both local and internationally acclaimed artists.

Located inside a charming Victorian building with clapboard siding, shutters and overlooking a lovely courtyard, Gingerbread Square Gallery recalls the genteel Key West of yesteryear. The surrounding neighborhood is unspoiled and uncommercial, a melange of coffee shops, unique boutiques, upscale restaurants, and quirky island homes.

Gingerbread Square Gallery stands as an eloquent tribute to its own colorful history. It is the island's oldest gallery, founded in 1974 by Key West's former beloved mayor, Richard Heyman. Having exhibited the works of such greats as Van Eno, Tennessee Williams and Henry Faulkner, it continues to impress art aficionados with a selection that rivals the caliber and diversity of a major metropolitan gallery.
