Abigail lives right here in Key West, Florida and has been designing jewelry for over 18 years. She uses gold, silver, and colored stones from all over the world for her unique style. Abigail’s work is very organic and refined. Many locals can spot her jewelry right away! Her luxury style and handmade pieces are inspired by the colorful scenes one can find biking around the island. Originally inspired by Shel Silverstein’s poem, The Garden From the artist: “This is literally a poem I was obsessed with when I was a kid and I would try to illustrate it all the time because I drew and painted And after I went to undergrad at University of Maryland, I went to Maryland Institute College of Art for some continuing Ed classes and realized that I was really just not a very good artist because people there were so much better But I always loved Jewelry and I had a lot of my own and I started designing pieces around pendants that I already owned and selling them and then I just kind of evolved from there and I am completely self taught. Opened my first store in Federal Hill in Baltimore when I was 24 because I just kind of fell into the space because my boyfriend at the time owned the restaurant next-door and it was the same landlord. moved to Key West when I was 29 and never looked back.
