Elizabeth Chamberlain Key West Artist
Elizabeth Chamberlain studied art and ceramics while residing in San Diego, CA. Upon relocating to Key West in 1993, she began painting with Sanford Birdsey on the sidewalks of Old Town. Today, she embraces the challenge and adventure of painting on location in the tropics. Surrounded by turquoise waters, charming historic architecture, brilliant foliage, and of course, the omnipresent chickens, the rhythm of island life provides endless inspiration.
In addition to Florida, she has exhibited in Alaska, California, and Oregon, and is a Signature Member of The Florida Watercolor Society and Oil Painters of America. Elizabeth has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Her work can be found in several permanent collections nationwide.
